Long-distance wireless remote control generally adopts FM or AM transmission and reception technology, which is similar to the transmission and reception technology of walkie-talkie or mobile phone, but the frequency is different. 

As smart TVs mature day by day, traditional remote controls can no longer meet people’s needs for controlling smart TVs. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of different user groups, it is imminent to design a series of smart remote controllers. 

The smart remote control should have a simple, intuitive and user-friendly operation interface. Users can easily get started without complicated use and learning, and roam between the Internet and TV as they like. In addition, the smart remote is equipped with inertial sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope), which can realize gesture recognition, air mouse and somatosensory interaction functions. For gaming operations that require higher precision, magnetic sensors can be incorporated to provide absolute coordinates. It can be said that the smart remote control perfectly integrates the traditional TV remote control, computer mouse and keyboard.
