With the progress of technology, the types of wireless remote controls are also increasing. There are usually two kinds, one is infrared remote control, the other is radio shake control mode. In our daily life, the most widely used is the infrared remote control mode. Taking the TV remote control as an example, let's talk about its working principle.
The remote control system is generally composed of transmitter (remote controller), receiver and central processing unit (CPU), in which the receiver and CPU are on the TV. The general TV remote controller uses the infrared ray with the wavelength of 0.76 ~ 1.5 microns to emit control information. Its working distance is only 0 ~ 6 meters and propagates along a straight line. In the internal circuit of the remote controller, corresponding to each key on the remote controller, the internal circuit adopts a specific coding method to correspond to it. When a specific key is pressed, a certain circuit in the circuit is connected, and the chip can detect which circuit is connected and judge which key is pressed. Then, the chip will send out the coding sequence signal corresponding to the key. After amplification and modulation, the signal will be sent to the light-emitting diode and converted into infrared signal to radiate outward. After receiving the infrared signal, the TV receiver demodulates and processes it to recover the control signal, and sends the signal to the central processing unit, which performs corresponding operations such as changing channels. Thus, we realize the remote control function of the TV.
Infrared remote control has many advantages. First of all, the cost of infrared remote control is lower and easier to be accepted by the public. Secondly, the infrared remote control will not affect the surrounding environment and will not interfere with other electrical appliances. Even for household appliances in different houses, we can use the same type of remote control, because the infrared remote control can not penetrate the wall, so there will be no interference. Finally, the remote control system circuit debugging is simple, usually we can use it without any debugging, as long as we connect correctly according to the specified circuit. Therefore, infrared remote control has been widely used in our household appliances.
With the advent of the intelligent era, the functions of TV are becoming more and more diverse, but the remote control is becoming more and more simple. There are not too many buttons before, and the appearance is more humanized. However, no matter how it develops, the remote control, as an important electrical appliance for human-computer interaction, must be irreplaceable.
