Analysis of advantages and disadvantages of three categories of remote controller

Source: projection age
Remote controls, as an accessory of conference cameras, are used most frequently. So what are the types of remote controls on the market? Only by understanding these types can we better screen which remote controller is more suitable for us. Generally speaking, the remote controllers on the market are divided into the following three categories according to the signal classification:
The first category: infrared remote control
Advantages: the main principle of this remote control is to control the equipment through infrared non visible light. Then the infrared ray is transformed into a digital signal that can be recognized by the control equipment. This kind of remote controller can be remotely controlled at a long distance.
Disadvantages: however, due to the limitation of infrared itself, the infrared remote controller cannot pass through obstacles or remotely control the equipment from a large angle, and the anti-interference ability is not good.
The second category: 2.4GHz wireless remote control
Advantages: with the gradual improvement of the popularity of wireless remote control in the remote controller, the 2.4G remote control signal transmission mode can effectively solve the disadvantages of infrared remote control and enable you to remotely control the TV from all angles in the house. And it is a 360 degree operation without dead angle. The omni-directional three-dimensional coverage is the advantage of the 2.4G remote control, and it is also the best type of remote control at present.
Disadvantages: the cost of 2.4G is too high. Electronic products are usually sold for every penny. For the same 11 key remote controller, the production cost of 2.4G remote controller is twice that of infrared remote controller. Therefore, this kind of remote control usually only occupies a dominant position in the high-end market.
The third category: Bluetooth remote control
Advantages: the advantage of Bluetooth remote control is that it can achieve a completely independent signal transmission channel through pairing with devices. Such a link channel can avoid the interference between wireless signals of different devices, but it is only a supplement to 2.4GHz technology. In other words, it achieves a more perfect effect and plays the role of double protection signal transmission.
Disadvantages: as far as the current use is concerned, the Bluetooth remote control also has some defects. For example, when we first use this kind of remote control, we need to manually pair the remote control with the device. The operation of the device may be delayed, and then we need to refresh it. And the cost is high. These are the problems that Bluetooth needs to solve.
